Dutchess County Fair

A little sustenance, ah, fair food.

And a few rides, some pretty scary.We all went on the Zipper, yikes! 

Exhausted, but happy. On the way out we stop at the Migliori farm stand for corn and apple cider. They are generous with our quantities and double everything! Everyone is happy to get home and crawl into bed!

House Warming in Stoneridge

We went to Stoneridge for Dan and Bernadette's housewarming. Bernadette put out so many fabulous dishes. With friends and food, a lovely party.

Pitching the tent for the evening. We had a lovely sleep under the stars. Gaël slept on the porch in a hammock and can't wait for the next time.

 In the evening, Felix went to see a baseball game with Ana and Lucas.

Air Force Week, crazy lines, so many people!

Jones Beach

Friends invited us to the beach. An amazing spot. We were actually alone! It was gorgeous. Some of us had a very hard time leaving. Gaël was ready to never leave.

War Horse

Today was grey and wet, a perfect day to go to the matinee. Luckily through High 5 we had tickets to War Horse. The horses were amazing. THe real surprise were the moments where the characters reached out across enemy lines.

Today was a day at home for everyone but me who had a coop shift and shopping to do.
And pick a few things from the roof!
Finn came to join the boys and play games.

Sondheim in the Park

Today, Gabriel, Lucien and Felix got up early, 6:15, to get to the Delacorte Theater to stand in line for Into the Woods. The line was enormous and they were at the "rock of no hope" but they ended up with amazing seats!


Everyone enjoyed the show.

I loved the set.
After Nathalie invited us to her restaurant for a bite to eat.

On the way home we drove Felix through Times Square.

After an unsuccessful attempt for lottery tickets to Wicked we walked through Times Square and then over to the Highline.  We were exhausted. In the afternoon, we had gone swimming at Carmine. Felix and Gaël made frequent use of the diving board.
