Snow, sleds, hot chocolate...

Off to the subway, sleds and all.
Snow castle on West 11 Street.

Snow thrones.

Snow shelter.

Sister and brother.

Around the tree, across the field, up the hill...

Down the hill.

Too warm.
Home...pumpkin pie, hot chocolate, and finish Albert Einstein, Young Thinker.

Gael's World

Gael loves taking pictures. Here is his view.

Guests, rain, snow, snow.....snow...

Well the day started with lots of rain but by 8am it was snowing big fat slushy flakes.
Kim and I braved the wet barely a block to West 11 Cafe....

Kim bought a bottle of wine last night that reminded her of her rooster and hens. The label refused to be removed, sorry Kim! I love the three paintings her and Amelia made for the kitchen, two roosters and their hen.

Kim and her daughter, Amelia stayed with us only a few days but they certainly had all kinds of weather! Rain all day, then snow all day! It is still a snowing slushy mess.
Camille went off to work this morning in the rain and returned in two hours covered in snow. Yves ventured out for piano and for a singing lesson at the Met late afternoon! I managed to get the courage to go with him to the Met. Wet feet!
We finished the day with Dr Who, the original, rather late!

Happy Birthday, Gabriel!

We celebrated Gabriel's birthday with Alex, Brendan, Chanda, Jane, Jeremy. Morgana, and Caleb. He had a gingercake with cream cheese icing. Everyone sewed red felt lavender hearts and played games. Happy 9th Birthday, Gabriel!

Snow, wonderful snow

The snow queen.

Alex, Gabriel, Gael, Lucien, Yves.

Perfect snowball material. We went to the river park to have a snowball fight. Alex, Yves, Lucien, Gabriel and Gael had a great time playing snowball tag and sliding down the slides on their sleds.
